Here’s the first wand I’ve ever actually finished. I made it for a Hufflepuff in a Harry Potter care package swap I was in a few months ago. I’m pretty happy with it.

Neat! What’s it made out of?
Thanks! Its base is a chopstick I picked up in MD when we had lunch during our memorial snarfari a few months back (man, I still think about those egg rolls). Then it’s a lot of hot glue and brown paint. I actually did some more touch-ups after taking these photos. The end is a glass marble I painted. It took several coats for the yellow to stand out against the black.
I started a few wands at a meetup earlier this year, but I didn’t have a chance to finish them during the meetup and haven’t gone back to them yet. So I am proud I finally finished one!
